And we're back! I've managed to break both my "early January" promise and my "update at least once every month" streak that I had going for a while there, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who really cares about this comic's timeliness anymore.

This is indeed the start of a new storyline, one I've had in the back of my head for a while now. It's been a while since we saw either Tony or Bigfoot--maybe two and a half, three years. I think Bigfoot's coloring is off here, but that might just be a trick of the light.

On an unrelated note, I'm thinking about spinning off the Terry/Steve/Olivia thread into its own comic. Nothing for certain right now--it's all very hazy and wouldn't necessarily happen right away, but, well, it's attractive from a narrative standpoint, since that thread's always been geographically isolated from Maple Street and Shelley proper, and there are a number of stories I want to tell, but I'm wary of wandering too far astray from the remit of "a supernatural domestic comedy set in a suburb of Portland". On the other hand, I'd be doubling my workload for minimal gain, and I don't know how successful this would be. We'll see. More when I know more.
